The ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization) is an electronic authorization to enter the United Kingdom, similar to the United States' ESTA or Canada's eTA. It is one of the new requirements created by the British government to improve border control after the Brexit.
This system is part of a gradual plan to replace traditional visas in some situations, facilitating short entries for tourists and business visitors.
