Good news
Last week I had great news. And just imagine, on my birthday!
Some time ago I applied for the Momondo. But as happens every time I apply for something, I apply and that's it, I'm done and what depended on me is done. From then on, as it no longer depends on me, I don't "worry" any more. Believe me, that's how my head works. So much so that often when I get the news that I've been accepted for something, it's that surprise of "I didn't even remember that". Which is great, because if it doesn't work out, I haven't been consumed with anxiety. And I know that this is a contradiction in terms, since I'm actually quite anxious, but I'm glad that in these cases my mind works this way. 🙂
Open World Traveler - Momondo Ambassador
You may be thinking that you've heard this name before or that I've already talked about it. But no. Last May I was one of the finalists in Momondo's Blogger's Open World Awards 2018. A competition for Travel Bloggers and you can read all about my experience here. And that it's different from being an Open World Traveler.
So on November 12 (for those of you who aren't paying attention, it's my birthday), I received the news that I had been accepted into Momondo's Ambassador Program - The Open World Traveler. Yes, it's official, I'm a Momondo Traveler!
Which is very important to me. Firstly, because anyone who likes to travel knows that Momondo is a fantastic platform, which I personally have been using for a long time. And then because as a traveler and travel blogger it brings me fantastic opportunities, not only for me but also for my readers and followers. Since I'll now be able to share all the news about campaigns, offers, products and competitions directly with you.
I will also have the opportunity to participate in future content from Momondoso keep an eye out to see if you can find me on their website and in their publications. And look on social media for this Ashtag #owtravelers
What is Momondo?
For those who don't know Momondo yet, I'll explain. A Momondo is a global travel search engine that compares millions of flights, hotels and rental cars. If you're thinking that there are several sites that do this, it's true. But it's also true that Momondo is different for several reasons. But I'm only going to mention 3, so you can see for yourself.
- It is recommended by Frommer's, CNN and the New York Times as the platform that finds the cheapest flights. This has also been confirmed by independent tests.
- There are all kinds of travel suppliers. From the "big players" that everyone knows, to smaller companies. This allows for greater selection and diversity when searching for flights and planning each trip.
- Then Momondo has a series of tools to help you plan your trip. According to your budget, your schedule and availability to travel, or the part of the world you want to visit. And these are just a few tools.
